It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the club's 26th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2016.In total, the Royals have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 28-year history. |
