Sunday, September 20th , 2043
The manager of the Bay of Quinte Herons said he thinks Joe Becker is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the second baseman's 2043 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 1 Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .297 batting average and a .355 on-base percentage this year. In 125 games he piled up 136 hits, 27 doubles, 3 triples, 12 home runs, 56 RBIs and 56 runs scored.

He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 12. Bruno Guilbert of the Leamington Mariners finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Thomas Walker of the Leamington Mariners finished third.
