Josh O'Toole Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Saturday, May 21st , 2039 The doctors have spoken and Josh O'Toole of the London Eclipse didn't like what he heard. The 31-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. O'Toole sustained his season-ending injury during the Green Bay Golden Eagles game yesterday at Solar Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the London medical staff reported O'Toole had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. This year in 9 starts, O'Toole has recorded 1 win and absorbed 3 losses. He has pitched 48.2 innings, allowed 55 hits, struck out 53 and has a 4.25 ERA. |
