Short Takes Best Bat Award in May Sunday, June 1st , 2053 Ed Short has a lot going for him. The Sarnia third baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the Sub League 1 has just picked him as its top hitter for May. In 26 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .330 with 10 home runs, 25 RBIs and 19 runs scored. To date this season, Short is hitting .359 with 14 home runs. |
