Foote Week's Best Player Monday, August 10th , 2048 Earl Foote burst onto the Sub League 1 stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie center fielder for Sault St. Marie garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 19-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .727 (8-for-11) with no home runs and 3 RBIs last week. This year Foote is hitting .325, produced 35 RBIs and 5 home runs, scored 24 times and gotten on base at a .383 rate. |
