SL1 Player of the Week Goes to McNayr of Sault Ste. Marie Monday, June 23rd , 2053 Pat McNayr is respected by most Sault Ste. Marie Whitecaps fans for his no-frills style of play. The 20-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .500 average (10-for-20) with 4 home runs, 6 RBIs and 8 runs scored. In 64 games McNayr is hitting .248 this season with 52 hits, 11 home runs, 23 RBIs, 21 walks, .325 OBP and has scored 32 runs. |
