Eagles Take Down Architects, 3-2
|
Chicago got a big-time effort from pitcher Al Pellerin, but it wasn't enough to keep the Milwaukee Eagles from winning the game, 3-2. Pellerin threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. Milwaukee, now 7-19, is off to a slow start.
Milwaukee used a timely hit from Seung-jun Park to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Eagles ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We'll try to build on that win," Park told the Milwaukee News.
