The Milwaukee Eagles racked up a win at Harbour Field, bumping off the Hamilton Mounties, 4-3. Yale Hulbert, who started for Milwaukee, pitched effectively for his team. Hulbert got the win, improving to 3-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Chet Hill, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Eric Molina to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Eagles on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Molina.

The Eagles go to 14-24 with the win.
