Eagles Get Thrilling 2-1 Win
|
The Eagles faced a stiff challenge from Duluth pitcher Terry Noble, but persevered to claim a win at Sea Gulls Field. The final score was 2-1. Noble went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Donald Hubbard collected his 1st save. The win puts Milwaukee at 33-60.
Emerson Coleman came through with a big-time hit for Milwaukee. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Milwaukee field general Mike Trigwell.
