Eagles Run Win Streak to 6
|
The Milwaukee Eagles beat the Traverse City Bears, 5-3. Milwaukee pitcher and Ottawa, Canada, native Didier Charles led the way. Ben Crawford sewed up the save, his 24th. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Eagles.
The Eagles got a big at-bat from right fielder José Aranda. For the game, Aranda went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Milwaukee a 2-0 lead.
"I believe in our guys," said Milwaukee skipper Mike Trigwell. "I like the energy they're playing with."
