Comets Deal Eagles 7-4 Loss
|
Getting offensive support from Paul Jackson, the Kingston Comets topped the Milwaukee Eagles, 7-4. Jackson was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Comets. Matsusuke Yoshida picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 1-0. The Eagles fall to 5-12 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2053 season.
Kingston took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Lane Rudge hit a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Comets.
"Paul is still learning," said Comets manager Kurt Peterson. "The sky's the limit for him."
