Peters Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
It was a high-five day for Billy Peters, at least for a while.

The London third baseman got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Mackinac Island Cougars, but they were in short supply at the end, as Mackinac Island won the game, 6-5. Peters finished with an impressive 5-for-9 line, but the Eclipse couldn't hold off the Cougars.

"Billy was hitting everything," said Eclipse manager . "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion."

Billy Peters grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, grounded out in the 11th, hit an RBI single in the 13th, singled in the 16th, singled in the 18th and flied out in the 20th.

This season, Peters is batting .283 with 68 hits, 5 home runs, 27 RBIs, .375 OBP and has scored 35 runs.
