Cannon Befuddles Kingston Tuesday, May 31st, 2033 Fred Cannon had an impressive outing at Comet Field today, hurling the Hamilton Mounties to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Kingston Comets. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Kingston skipper Kurt Peterson said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Cannon yielded 3 hits and tallied 8 strikeouts with 1 walk.
